Confirm the VPN is active, then fully quit and relaunch the client. Switching to a different server in the same region clears most connection failures.

Tables feel laggy

You're likely routed through a distant server. Test two or three nearby locations and keep the one with the lowest ping; avoid free VPN tiers entirely.

APK install blocked

Android asks for permission per app. Allow your browser to install unknown apps, finish the install, then switch the permission back off.
